The United Singers Federation of Pennsylvania has a German singing competition every year in which Mon Yough Chorale participates.  The Annual Saengerfest, or “singers festival” is held the second full weekend of June.  Member choruses take turns hosting the Saengerfest and this year, the event will be hosted by the Mon Yough Chorale.  An adjudication will take place on Saturday morning, June 10, at Francis McClure Elementary School in White Oak, PA followed in the evening by a concert and dinner at the Elements Event Venue in Irwin, PA.

Participating choruses are welcome to compete in three categories: Mens, Womens, and Mixed.  This year, the Mon Yough Chorale plans to participate in all three categories.  This is the first full Saengerfest to be held since the Covid-19 pandemic.
